Typical Tuesday DLU, I guess: all the updates about the weekend went into yesterday's long Monday entry. Now there's not much to tell, as virtually nothing has happened since. Well, except that I gained weight -- I was back up to 149 lbs this morning, after several days of steady, minor declines that were making me feel better. But, I guess that's what'll happen when you eat most of a super-rich dish of portabella macaroni and cheese for lunch. My dinner was actually very vegetable-heavy but that didn't seem to make much different. Okay, okay! I also had eggnog with my dinner. I need to get my shit together. At least my pants still fit.

Once we were done making dinner, Shobhit and I watched Sunday's Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, which had a fantastic main story on Confederate monuments that I wish every American would watch. And then I watched the HBO documentary Spielberg, about Steven Spielberg, and during that Shobhit took the news shows he watches on his laptop back into the bedroom. The documentary was pretty transparently fawning, but I still rather enjoyed it. That man's contribution to cinema history is undeniable.

And that, really, was pretty much all my evening consisted of. Oh, I did go and pick up my dry cleaning.

I slept all right last night. Why have I been struggling not to nod off all morning? I don't get it. Maybe it's the weather -- for once, a forecast high below 60° today. This is apparently the threshold Noah uses for no longer wearing shorts to work. Jeff even commented that Noah was wearing pants today and Noah said the temperature was finally not above sixty and that was why. I only wear shorts to work when it's, like, in the mid- to upper-eighties.

I just ate my sandwich I brought for lunch at the table in the office kitchen / dining room, and was sitting near Erica, who -- after I wrote the above paragraph -- actually lay her head down on the table and said, "I need a nap!" I guess I'm not the only one.

Now that I've been up and had the sandwich, though, I'm not quit as drowsy. We'll see how long that lasts. I'll probably be nodding off again before long. Fun!
