Fri, 15:41: When I was about 6 or 7 and my mom would take me to her boyfriend’s house, I would always make a beeline for his earthquake book so I could look at the photos of the carnage from the 1964 Anchorage earthquake. So I’m feeling nostalgic today! #flashbackfriday
Fri, 20:04: Today I was delighted to learn one of my cousin’s kids believes Grandpa McQuilkin really was Santa Claus.
(P.S. I will never forget Grandma telling us about Grandpa’s mom giving him the middle name Ashley: “She really wanted to call him Asshole.” I nearly died. Woman lived to the age of 82 and it was the single time I ever heard her use that word.)
