Not a whole lot to tell today. I didn't go to a movie last night. I rode by bike home, and Shobhit had eaten something only a couple of hours before, so I made myself a Field Roast veggie burger which was quite tasty even without any cheese to put on it. Then we sucked up the rest of the evening with the last three episodes of season three of Fargo on Hulu -- the episodes that really upped my opinion of the season. Up until then, it seemed surprisingly tame compared to the previous seasons. But as of these episodes, the story takes a bizarre turn -- multiple bizarre turns, really. And gets gruesome in a way the season really didn't bother to be up to that point, compared to the first and second seasons. There's a pretty shocking murder right at the end of the very first episode in season 1. In this season, very little of that nature -- until, I think it's in episode 7, there's a decapitation. And a relatively creative one at that.

And now that season's done, binged within a matter of days. I really should refocus on my current library book. I also want to keep watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, though.

I brought a frozen pizza for lunch today, but then a smorgasbord was left out in the kitchen for all of us in the office -- a purge of samples from the Merchandising refrigerator and freezer; leftover dishes from yesterday's Board of Trustees all-day meeting. I took quite the plate of food. Not heaping per se, but arguably a little more than I should have taken. I also had some kale salad, at least! I did not realize it was fucking kale until I started eating it -- but, it was barely edible, and this way I can say I ate something green.

It also meant going out to eat on the patio about 15 minutes earlier than usual. I saw Alicia go out there only minutes after I finished and was back inside, so we barely missed each other. I had to go grab some food for myself before other people took it all. I can't let free food break free from my grasp!

Some other lady did sit at the table I was sitting at, and we even chatted a little. I cannot for the life of me remember her name or what her position is. I think she's somewhere in upper management though, or if not that, some executive-type position. Something one step down from the CEO. I think.
