Thu, 08:52: PCC back in downtown Seattle with a smaller store and downsized ambitions
1) I really love the photo carousel, all the photos are fantastic, and filled me with pride and affection for PCC—it really felt like Seattle Times photographer Kevin Clark was on our side.
2) What stood out to me most in the article was actually that “Nearly half of PCCs members have joined since the start of 2020.” I did not know that and it’s kind of amazing.
3) If you hit a paywall, there is this workaround, albeit with some extra steps: if you are a Seattle Public Library member, go to spl.org/online-resources/magazines-and-newspapers; scroll down to click "Seattle Times (1895- Current)"; put in your SPL login, then just search "pcc back in downtown" and the article should come up. (Unfortunately this is a text-only version that does not include the photo carousel; also if you are outside of Seattle or the Seattle Public Library system, your local public library may still have the option at their website too.)
