Mon, 08:26: Time to make some White moderates feel defensive!
And even plenty of White liberals! A ton on whom are on the flip side of this same coin—the ones who refuse to vote for the deeply flawed but objectively better candidate in elections only because they aren’t perfect. This kind of wrong-mindedness, which results in objectively worse outcomes for marginalized communities, also qualifies as shallow understanding. This is just as important as the work of advocacy for social justice, protest and direct action, all of which are as critical now as they have ever been.
