Today's DLU (Daily Lunch Update, sheesh, you people never remember!) takes a break from photos sent by Ivan from his travels in Morocco. Instead, they are replaced by semi-blasts from the past, which I just happened to come across for varying reasons as I was going through my Flickr account yesterday. The Biscuit Bitch menu (above) is from when Jennifer and I went there for breakfast during a visit when she came to stay the night with me in October 2012. I really have no idea how I came across that shot yesterday; I can't remember. It may have been the day before, actually.

The Poco Wine Bar sign (below) is near the end of my galleries of photos from Shobhit's and my trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras in 2014. Four years ago already! Anyway, Jessica posted on Facebook yesterday she booked a trip there with her mom (Laney), so I shared some of the photos with her, and found a few that were never marked for DLU use but seemed like perfectly worthy contenders for it now. And the weird tattoo photo (below, at bottom) is from when I went with Scott to tour Cascadian Farm's local show farm in Skagit Valley in the summer of 1012. I looked up the photo set earlier this week after a store question about whether their cereals were locally produced.

I don't usually write so much about the photos I use in these posts, but today, what else am I going to write about? Not much! And also they're all shots from much longer ago than usual.

Last night I spent most of the evening at home alone, doing laundry. Shobhit picked up extra hours at the last minute and wound up working from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Quite the long shift, but the extra money will be welcome.

I did several other things on my own as the clothes were being laundered. I went to pick up dry cleaning. I made dinner for both Shobhit and me, at Shobhit's request. I baked the PCC take-and-bake pizza we got while shopping last weekend, with several fresh chopped toppings added -- I took two of my four slices, half the pizza, to work for lunch today. I watched an episode of Crashing on HBO. I worked quite a while on iTunes playlists (I'm making "favorites" lists pulled mostly from other artist- and band-specific favorites playlists to create essentially decade-specific lists from which I can make a radio station playing on random: classic rock; disco; eighties; nineties, 2000s; 2010s.) I'm about halfway through the playlists of artists to make the 2000s and 2010s favorites lists. I was basically still doing that when Shobhit got home close to 10:00, having taken the bus to work because some weird noises the car is apparently making has him nervous about driving. He needs to get his car into a shop, I guess.

So, after I got the second and final load of laundry all put away, we watched one episode of the first season of Roseanne on Amazon Prime before I went to bed.

. . . And that's really all the news that's fit to print. I suppose even that claim is dubious.
