cold enough

-- चार हजार चार सौ तीस सात -- Woops! It's 12:28 pm as I start writing this, and I'm really supposed to be getting back to work by 12:30. Not that I always strictly adhere to that exactly, but whatever. I guess it's a good thing I have very little to update you on today. After walking home from work yesterday, I made dinner -- for the second evening in a row! Shobhit was a bit later even than the night before getting off work, so I was just about done with the spaghetti with alfredo sauce and several sautéed vegetables added when he got home. It was quite good, and I just had the last of it for lunch here at work today -- although I have to say, that creamy sauce does not age well overnight in the refrigerator and then microwaved the next day. I'm not saying it went bad, only that the noodles were far drier as a result. Oh well. Oh! I guess if nothing else I can confirm that Alicia and I went on our "Loop Walk" yesterday afternoon, and this time I even remembered at the predetermined time of 2:45! Usually I'm distracted and she has to email me something like, Are we going? This time it was the opposite, as she was processing a transaction when I walked over to her desk. But when we walked out in the beautiful if super-cold weather, just as it is again today. I mean, it was this morning anyway. Right now it’s 41° outside. Far from freezing. Cold enough. -- चार हजार चार सौ तीस सात -- -- चार हजार चार सौ तीस सात -- Most of the rest of the evening was spent watching the first two episodes of season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which was released on Amazon Prime yesterday. Shobhit never watched the first season with me, although he did get into bed once when I was watching an episode, and he watched some, and he commented on the good writing. He liked these last night as well, and commented now that he should go back and watch the first season. It shouldn't be hard, each season has only about ten episodes. I still find it a little contrived, but I quite enjoy it anyway -- I love the costuming and production design and the characters and the performances. I was also struck last night by the impressive camera work, even though I could stand for it not to move quite as fast.
